The 2023 Lodge Banquet was held at the Truly Nolan Leadership Center on February 4th. There were approximately 40 people in attendance including some special guests.

Special guests were Connor Tsai, Section G13 Secretary, and Bob Dixon, Section G13 Adviser.

There were many displays set up for all in attendance to look at as well as having the Lodge Trading Post and memorabilia auctions.

For dinner the lodge provided BBQ meat and those in attendance brought sides to complement the BBQ. Many plates were filled to the brim with plenty left over for people to take home. All in attendance thought this was a great way to put on a banquet.

After eating, the Supreme Chief of the Fire, Jeff Hotchkiss gave an inspirational message that was derived from 10 lessons from behind the ears at Disneyland. All ten lessons were very relatable to what we do in Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.

Next Jeff swore in all of the new Lodge Executive Committee to their new positions. Congratulations to all the new officers.

Jeff also made a surprise presentation to of a 35 year Veteran pin to Al Cooper, one of the lodges past Lodge Advisers.

Tribe of Papago: Jim Nelson

Ala: Bryce Folkoff and Andrew Rieman

Founders: Joaquin Galindo and Edwin DeLuna

As the new chief, Joaquin had a few remarks about the coming year and the banquet closed with all in attendance circling up and singing the song of the order.
