| The Vigil honor is the highest honor one can receive within
the Order of the Arrow. It requires a minimum of three years of service to the Order of
the Arrow and Scouting in general. 2008 Vigil Nominations
will be announced at the Annual Banquet. The Vigil weekend
will be held on October
16-17, 2008 at
Double V Scout Ranch.
Vigil Breakfast
Every year, vigil candidates who complete their vigil are treated to a great meal at
the Vigil Breakfast and Fellowship.
Breakfast is provided for the newly inducted Vigil members at no charge to them. All
others are expected to purchased their own meals. Arrowmen who wish to congratulate the
new Vigil members are encouraged to participate.
Breakfast with beverage costs roughly $7.50. Vigil Honor members should be the only
attendees for the fellowship on Friday night and the ceremony on Saturday morning, but all
members are welcome to the breakfast. |
