| The Order of the Arrow Scoutreach Mentoring Program is a
joint effort of the national Scoutreach Division of the Boy Scouts of America and the
Order of the Arrow. Its purpose is to identify and assist urban and rural Scout troops
whose camping and advancement programs are below standard. This is a chance for older
Arrowmen who have skills to pass on to younger Scouts. If your troop is
functioning well and you are looking for a more challenging task, this
may be the opportunity for you to shine. It is also away for you to
create a tie with a neighboring Cub Scout pack to insure that your troop
stays strong after you graduate. On top of all this, there is a
recognition program to thank you for being a positive role model to
others. For more information, please contact Budd
Allen at the Council Service Center. |
